Our Mission
In God’s love, we renew dignity and inspire learning for youth and families.
In God’s love, we renew dignity and inspire learning for youth and families.
We meet practical needs with food assistance, clothing, job resources, classes for life skills, relationships, financial literacy, and so much more. Our flagship program, Thriving Together, is a no-cost cooperative that helps members overcome economic challenges while encouraging personal responsibility in relationship with others.
And at every step of the way, members and guests are treated with the dignity and love they deserve so they can know their God-given value.
We’re here not to rescue. We’re here to open the door for our most vulnerable neighbors so they can take the next steps toward their dreams.
And when we do that, we help build a stronger community that supports one another with deepened resilience and hope.

To:gether Canby—formerly The Canby Center—was born from a shared vision among five local churches: to be the hands and feet of Jesus by walking alongside neighbors in need. Since opening in 2008, we’ve grown into a vibrant hub where faith, dignity, and community come together to bring hope and renewal for youth and families.
Through partnerships with local churches, schools, service clubs, and generous donors, To:gether Canby now serves thousands of families across Canby, Aurora and Hubbard. As we expand our facility and strengthen our programs, we remain focused on what matters most: relationships that renew hope, faith that sustains, and a community where everyone can thrive.
What began as a local movement of compassion is now a model of hope for communities beyond Canby. We’re sharing what we’ve learned—showing how faith in action can transform lives, families, and neighborhoods.
Together, we’re opening doors—renewing dignity, inspiring learning, and building a future where everyone belongs.
“When my daughter started tutoring, she was in fourth grade but reading at a kindergarten level. She was afraid to read out loud and would cry in class. Her tutors patiently started at the beginning and helped fill in the gaps she’d missed. Now she’s in sixth grade, reading at grade level, confident, and even helping her friends. To:gether Canby has become a safe place for our daughter and for our family.”
