Mimi is a strong believer in providing children with every opportunity to find support. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oregon State University with a minor in New Media Communications. Mimi’s experience managing volunteer programs during college honed her organizational skills and produced a passion for facilitating a welcoming and safe environment for participants. She enjoys attending concerts, puzzling, fiber arts, and serving in her church.

Cathy earned a Bachelor in Science from Western Oregon University and has spent many years in Christian Education. She is a lifelong resident of Canby with a heart for service to others. She enjoys spending as much time as possible with her two sons, granddaughter, and her many pets. She attends Christ the King Church and loves the community and support she feels with other members.

Mimi offers a warm welcome to each person we serve. Her prior work in banking lends an eye for detail and personal responsibility that is invaluable to the youth and families she serves in tangible ways every day. Mimi has held a variety of leadership roles in her church community and spends her free time going on walks and other outdoor adventures with her son, Matteo. Mimi feels very blessed by her work and being part of a family who serves the Lord with all their hearts.

Arthur earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Washington University and a Master of Public Health from the OHSU/PSU School of Public Health. Arthur’s career encompasses small business development, environmental health, and hospitality. Arthur is passionate about advancing health equity and promoting community well-being. Arthur enjoys outdoor adventuring, aqua-scaping, and bio-hacking.

Tallie graduated from George Fox University with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. While at George Fox, she founded the Kindness Club, creating opportunities for students to share God’s love through serving their community. She has visited 12 countries through mission trips and studying abroad, experiences that have deepened her passion for helping others. In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with friends. She is grateful to be part of the To:gether Canby team and its Christ-centered mission.

Over the last seven years, Steve has served in a pivotal leadership capacity, driving substantial organizational growth at The Canby Center. He is a skilled storyteller and has held account management and business development roles with multi-national retailers. With over fifteen years of operations management experience, Steve is an excellent connecter. He earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Biola University. Steve and his wife, Nancy, enjoy spending time with family, kayaking, and live music.

Brook believes in the power of stories to build connection, inspire change, and strengthen communities. She holds a Master’s in Global Development & Justice from Multnomah University and has worked with nonprofits locally and abroad, including in Rwanda and Jordan with Africa New Life and Mercy Corps–Syria. At The Canby Center, she uses communications and grant writing to connect people to our mission. Brook lives in Redland with her husband and two cats, and enjoys backpacking, travel, and violin.

Jessica has over 14 years of experience in facilities operations and thrives in implementation and relationship building. Her determination has allowed her to build a career in maintenance, safety, and project management. Her love for Canby resonates as she also holds multiple volunteer board positions in the community. Jessica recharges by reading with a cup of coffee in hand or traveling to a beach location with her husband, Shawn, and their two daughters.

Jacob has earned experience in warehouses, inventory management, leadership, and reliable teamwork. Jacob gained this experience through working at a factory and being a youth leader for his church’s youth group. Jacob focuses on the details and key parts of the task at hand. Jacob enjoys spending his time going bouldering at his local indoor rock climbing gyms, writing fantasy stories, and is pursuing an education in audio and visual programming.

Dan, originally from Sherwood, worked on the Clackamas Community College faculty, training professionals in water and wastewater careers. He and his wife, Barbara, have been active in children’s ministry, small group leadership, and senior adult ministry at their church. 

Pam McDavid brings to her role years of volunteer experience and a passion for hospitality, teaching, and listening. Pam and her husband raised their family in Canby where she still works occasionally as a dental hygienist. She is excited to support TCC’s mission, pointing others to Christ as their true hope and helping the organization grow to meet the needs of the community.

After a 20-year career in nonprofit leadership including Rescue Mission ministry, drug abuse prevention and higher education, Sheri transitioned into spiritual direction and has been offering this gift to Christ-followers since 2013. Sheri Philips and her husband, Scott, moved into the City of Canby two years ago and attend New Hope Church in SE Portland.

Bob Stewart retired in 2024 after a 49-year career in education, including 25 years as superintendent of the Gladstone School District. He holds degrees from Warner Pacific University and Portland State University (MPA) and has served on many boards including the Gladstone Education Foundation, Family Stepping Stones Relief Nursery, and the Oregon Health and Education Collaborative. Bob is a Canby Rotary Club member. He and Diana were married for over 50 years. They have five children and 13 grandchildren.

Charlie, a lifelong resident of Canby, served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years and graduated from the University of Colorado. In 2011 he retired from NW Natural after 32 years and then consulted in the natural gas industry until 2023. He has been active in Canby Rotary and the Canby Rotary Foundation since 1989, having held leadership roles in both. Charlie and his wife, Denise, attend Christ the King Church in Canby.
